Make contact via website, briefly describe any goals etc. At this stage we can mutually assess if Perfect Splits Running is suitable for you before any payment is made. Please note: training for a debut marathon with little or no running experience is not advisable and I would not be able to provide coaching in this instance. As a minimum, I would expect you to have already trained and completed a half marathon before embarking on training for the full 26.2 miles. Currently coaching distances from 5k to the Marathon.
I will send you a detailed questionnaire for you to complete (also including a waiver and health declaration to sign). This will enable me to ascertain your running history, work/life/training balance, future goals, previous results etc. From here, I can begin to form the basis of the fully personalised training plan.
Provide one-off payment (via bank transfer) for a 60min telephone/internet call. Here we can address any queries either of us may have. This will help create the framework and detail of your training plan and is a crucial first step in a successful coaching programme. In certain circumstances it may be feasible to conduct this in person at a location mutually suitable for both parties i.e. Coffee shop, this can also include a run session. Cost is £75 for in person consultation and £50 for online / telephone consultation.
Make first monthly payment of £65 (via bank transfer) and receive your first detailed running plan aimed fully at making you a better runner and achieving your long term goals. Price includes regular contact to allow feedback, advice and any tips and tricks I have learnt during my own running journey. Your training plan will be fully personalised and will take into account your work/life schedule. *Monthly coaching fee will be £70 PCM from 1st Jan 2025
Please note all runners are required to be over the age of 18.
On completion of initial consultation, Runners have access to book 1-1 coaching sessions with Paul.

Regular contact available for guidance and advice. Unlike some plans, this is not limited to once or twice a month. Typically, this will be through mediums such as email or Whatsapp etc.
Race strategy, race event planning, equipment guidance and general running advice will be freely available, as this is more than just a monthly training plan.
I will be working with a limited number of runners in order to give you the best service possible.
Regular adjustments to your plan can be made at short notice to compliment unexpected work commitments or life situations.
